Hi all,
have been researching pcd adapters required to fit the phone dials to the bus.... so far the options are:

- a machined set for ~1350. nice, with bolts etc, but $$$
- can get a set made (from plates welded together) for ~800
- could get a set of pressed ones from just beetle ~1300

I dont like the idea of adapters to start, but not sure which is the best option. I need about a 20mm spacer (28 max).

Anybody got any other options, opinions? Any other bug shops that may have some nice ones lying about?

I seem to have come right... almost.
I now have a set of the machined adapters with studs and nuts (chrome). The only thing is I will have to drill the 130 PCD into it as it currently has 112 pcd only. I am also considering drilling Audi 114pcd in as well, as it looks like there is plenty room on the surface... any views on multiple pcds on an adapter?

This was my 56 Oval with Dails on and I made special spacer rings and then bolted the machined adapters on

sorry I`m battling with my 3G ADSL still down

as soon as it it right will put Pics up of her

Best is to use studs out of the adapters so then you cant have 2 sets of PCD`s But if you have decent machined ones You can do it if it seems safe with enough material for strength

Just remember that you can always build another car !! :D :D :D
But that car can`t Build you
