Re: "Eva-Ann"
Glad to say that all rubberising has been removed. Now sanding and then some paint......Batman wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 7:27 am The previous owner rubberised the interior for some reason. I thought that it was still in a good condition and that I would just clean it out and I would carpet over it.
But the weekend with some closer inspection I realised that it was lifting and that the one door is leaking, causing water to build up between the rubberising and the floor-pan.

Also recently done the areas under the front and rear seats.... it looked as if the battery had a baby powder party
What size is the Willard battery you have?

Re: "Eva-Ann"
Thank you. Does it fit nicely? Do you use the original bracket and ‘dop’?
When the time comes I will be replacing my battery with something a bit bigger (Ah) and also if possible with the recessed terminals.

Re: "Eva-Ann"
Pan is actually good, just the usual part where the battery is, is a bit rusted. Will cut it out and replace the small section.
Must say a lot of elbow grease ... was a mission to get the rubberizing removed.
