Hi Guys
I am new to the group.
I have a rough lowlight panelvan, l need some advice on their values as I need to know how much I should spend on her restoration. Solid body and floors I have most of the parts , she will need a some panel beating and a respray.
Any input and advice will be welcome.
Thanks Wayne

Welcome, and nice to have you here
Why not post a few photo's of the bus, and let us have a look at it,
This will make it easy to give comment on possible options and assist in offering info on your project.
Also have a Lowlight panelvan, and enjoy them more then the Kombi
Herman

Most people can't afford split kombis
so baywindows represent an attractive proposition, even more so the low lights. I would go ahead and restore it if it was mine.

This is exactly why we ended up with our lowlight bus.
Would have loved a splitty, but it is just too expensive unfortunately

I don’t believe you should be deciding on your quality of work based on what the bus is worth.
Are you going to fix it with news paper and putty if it’s not worth much?
Fix it to the best of your ability.
It seems you have a nice base to start with.

Thanks for all the replies, will keep you posted under projects. Reason for asking is that over spending on a project is a common mistake we often make.
Any leads for panelbeaters / spray painters in the Somerset West area.
Cheers Wayne
