Quick & dirty engine capacity check ?????

Gents & others,....what is the quickest most approximate way to determine capacity?
Do not want to strip head/ heads,.....could open a can of worms like studs stripping ect,...ect
???? Pouring parifin into cylinder in a controlled manor . Taking note that on TDC the combustion chamber needs to be filled 1st,...then mmovepiston to bottom and fill,..taking note of what goes in ? Now we just need something that can measure accurately !
Any other methods ?,....fairly urgent. Thanks in advance

Find TDC of piston, remove spark plug, get a marked big siring or peppet fill to top mark, release slowly into plug hole till top of plug hole
Measure how much went in, subtract the amount in plug space and BoB's your aunty Joe.
I think

Thanks Herman,...will 1st determine the stroke,....then find a thing to measure fluids more accurately

You remove the doghouse and then you look down in between the fins of the two cylinder sleeves. Then you start counting the fins from the casing, outwards. You will then see the one fin is a bit thicker than the other ones. If you get to that fin and you have counted 21 or less....nah I've got nothing. Weet regtig nie.

There are specialized equipment for this
Tarlton international raceway do have that

Nowadays you get cheap endoscope/borescopes for under R300. Diameter 6 or 7mm, have led light, usb connection, some connect to phone or laptop. You could tape this little camera to guiding wire, facing backwards. Then guide it through spark plug hole, facing combustion chamber.
Comparing to another head, one should be able to roughly determine bore diameter.
As in 1600= 85.5mm, 1300= 77mm, or modified 1914cc= 94mm. If still clean, one might even read markings on piston.
Small difference like 1500 versus 1600 would be more difficult to spot. Or if chamber shape was modified/enlarged.
Also useful for peeping through places like gearbox filler or draining holes. Or inspecting bodywork cavities for rust or botch (filled with newspaper), repair jobs.
Pierre Bugger- as jy nie reeds een het nie, dalk n goeie idee om een vir jou besigheid te kry?
Stroke length- one can get an indication by putting a carefully bent measuring wire through the plug hole. While turning crank, mark highest and lowest spot on wire.

Thanks Dawie,.....currently negotiating to "borrow" a 12v starter to get this engine to turn over,....then will take it further check compression,.....then add fuel and fire !!
