Aircooled VW South Africa

Hi All, I am helping a couple out who bought a Beetle without a spare and on some pretty old rubber.

They popped a tyre over the weekend and are now stranded with 3 working wheels.

Would be vegy grateful for any leads on a replacement tyre to get them moving and an extra rim for a spare would be a bonus.

Which area are you in and what size tyre do you need?

Hi in the Overstrand area, Bettys Bay.

Found 1 x 175/65 r15 on a rim to get them mobile.

Still short 1 replacement tyre for a spare - either 165sr15 or 175/65 r15

Do you not have any tyre shops in your town.

Nankang or Hankook make the 165/ 80 15

Thanks Herman - I will check for the Hankook's tomorrow. I have seen them on another Beetle today.
