Torsion springs from scratch

Hi guys, my build is crawling along slowly...and with each step a new opportunity to learn...currently amongst a hundred other things is the need to fit the rear torsion bars and plates. The pan i have did not have them installed so I have the plates and bars outside and need to have them fitted.

The question is how do I even begin to get these installed ? How do determine the initial insertion angles, then I accept that I will have to play with the settings to achieve the ride height I want.

Any suggestions and guidance will be appreciated...

just put them in with them slightly lower than the bottom stops (so you have to lift the trailing arm when installing).
Then refer to the below table and make your adjustments.

If you can, try to ID which torsion bar came from which side. You want the left to stay on the left and right to right, as they deform over time and putting them on the other side can cause them to get damaged as they "untwist"
