Aircooled VW South Africa

I picked this dash clock up at a car show, just because it looked cool. While watching a YouTube video I saw the dash of a 1949 Beetle that seemed to have the same clock. There are numbers on the back:
4 51 - I assume this to be April 1951
AL 151.040 D - The Samba says this clock was used in Split Beetles 1949-52

Anybody need this for their project?

Yes its a split beetle clock, have one but maybe Jaco would need one for his many... many ... ... Many Splits



Yes its a LHD clock, BUT it can be changed over to RHD

I know I have done it to my clock for my 1952 Split Beetle

What I would want is a period correct horn button clock for my 1952 split.

Would not know if it had it when young, but it was fitted with so many accessories that it would make sense that it would have had a horn button clock.

So if you have one, please let me know.

Any one of these will be great....
