Shoes

If this is in the wrong place please move or remove if need be.
So a guy asked his boss for some time off to go buy some new shoes he has been saving years for. so off he goes and comes back a few hours later wearing his new shoes and shows his boss the new shoes.
But when his boss looks at them he notices the toe caps have been cut off for his toes to stick out.The boss then said to him Why did you not buy the right size shoes for your feet and the worker replies saying His shoes are the right size but his feet are to big.
I tried.
