Hi Andrew,

That is a very interesting setup.

Do you have any other photos to share?

I am not overly familiar with the T2 Fleetlines, although I do have a vague recollection of them running universal joints.

There are some T2 Fleetline owners on this forum. Hopefully they will chime in soon.

That would be the same as the Brasilias (Fugly's) we had here in SA

My Fugly looked like that.

these are the other pics of my project, i don't know what they really called this model

i just want to source any information on how can i drop/lower the rear end, while still using the reduction gear box.

adjustable spring plate will do so but the holes on the spring plate on this model doesn't match on the available aftermarket parts on the internet

Thanks for the extra pics.

That may be the first Dove Blue Bay' I've seen. I like it. :-)

Bear in mind that universal joints don't take kindly to extreme angles.

You lower it the same as you would a normal bay Or Fleetline.

By removing the spring blades off its splines and moving them up one or two splines and re fitting.

Do a search here on the forum and you will find a few threads dealing with this.

Your bus is a Brasilia that was brought into South Africa for approx. one year after the fleetlines stopped.

It is made up of a bay front fitted to the fleetline body and a 25mm section all around to bring the roof up to meet the Bay front height.

There are a few of these buses here on this forum.

Enjoy your project and have fun with her, I loved my Fugly when I had it. viewtopic.php?f=23&t=26163

Interesting...
LHD version means probably locally assembled from ckd kits of South-American origin?
Think DMG was the VW distributor in Philippines.
