very neat, I've seen my friend work on buggies and at the best of times, the wiring is a total bitch to get to.

Ever worked on the wiper motor on a buggy!!!! what a PITA!!!! Well, at least the one I worked on that time. Picture this.... like you normally sit in a seat head up, feet down.... Working on a wiper motor (to be able to use BOTH hands at the same time).... Head down feet up. Needless to say that someone had to help me get in and out. Now if this person wanted to be funny, and left me inside the Buggy, there would be no way in hell, or without injury that I would've gotten out!!!!!!!!

At least this dashboard swings down for easy access!

Hi Vader, the previous oner painted the steering wheel, i had to modify the hub of it to work with the steering colum of the microbus, i will strip the paint of from the steering wheel at a later stage and get it redone with leather aswell.

That is why i opted for this idea of the whole dash must swing open to reveal the wires, fuses , relays and that viper assembly.

UPDATE ON THE BUGGY

okay i havent done musch on the buggy in the last 2 weeks, spend alot of time painting the baby room out, and fixing a few things around the house.

the wiring on the buggy is done exept for the head lights, still have to make brakets for them and couple there wires up, still need to finish the new dash board, and will send the seat in next year for re upholstery, getting my 4 new tyres tomorow.

so today me and my old friend sorted the brakes out on the buggy, setting them up and bleeding them. then we tackled the engine, starter is a problem so we gave the buggy a short push and it started, got that it idle but need to servise the dizzy and replase plugs and plug wires. so i tooked the buggy around the block for the first time, it puls dem nice althou it smokes a little bit and i can see there is so sump compresion, and 2 of the push rod tubes is pissing oil out, so i am thinking of pulling the heads and and home the sleaves, newe rings and big end bearings with new push rod seal on.

will take some picture later for you guys of the buggy.

THE BUGGY IS RUNNING
