Sound-deadening...

's up all?
I'm going TOMORROW to find some sound-deadening material...
Some people have recommended "Dynamat", and I'm looking at SoundSeal from Sondor (
http://www.sondor.co.za )...
We're covering the entire pan, firewall and dogbox from inside, the side/door panels, and the roof.
1. How many metres do you estimate?
2. What do you recommend?
If I get a foam-type covering, won't it make the floor 'squishy'?
Thanks, N.

Apparently, "Think Pink" ceiling insulation also works rather well for under carpeting etc
You can use Dynamat, House of Sound, they are all the same in principal...

Thanks guys.
I'm not installing anything pink in my car unless it's flesh, Blitz'.
I've also found Firex 30 from ondor, but will check out the Dynamat. Apparently it's about R50 per metre, which is affordable.
Cheers, N.

Who's going to see the "Think Pink" if it's hidden under the carpet

Buy the product called Vibraseal.......It's like dynamat, but about a 1/4 of the price. I had on my previous beetle and it was HAUNTINGLY quiet.
Self Adhesive and comes in 1m aquare sheets.....about R60-00 a square....
