Hi all
Where can i get windows for my new Splitty?
Also, where can i get cushion, carpeting to cover the engine box and absorb some of that monstrous roaring from the 1600?
I am based in CT, so the closer tohome the better?

I believe a Split window Bus has all its windows flat, why don't you just have them cut in laminated glass? About 4 years ago a new window for my buggy cost a mere R 140

I have some side window glass in Jhb. But, as Pine says, it's all flat, so it's easy to get it cut from 6mm laminated.
There's no such thing as a 68 split. Let's see some pics. And give me the VIN# and I'll tell you exactly when it was built.

I think the VIN number is 235 057 531. I spotted a plate behind the front left seat which had a whole bunch of numbers on it, including the date 1-19-1968. Thus i assumed it was a 68. Do you need more numbers?
