The time spent fixing the bug = the amount of fever caused by the bite!
It take as much time as it takes.. If you love the bug then any amount of time spent is worth it....

3 years spent getting the car ready for a big engine, 7 years spent planning, saving up and buying parts for it. 2 weeks solid (10hrs a day min) getting the car ready, wiring in gauges, gbox brace mods, cutting engine tin and building the engine... 7 minutes later it seized... wait 2 months, calm down and rebuild again... its now in, with the exhaust fitted. After the exams and the flu, its going to start again - or maybe next week between exams if I get a day off studying - lets hope for a bit more than 7 minutes this time
O yea, its slowly starting to rust, so it needs a body re-do sometime, plus the interior needs finishing and I am already planning another sound system

I love that name... and no, its not a BMW LOL

I don't think the work ever stops. If you restore a car,you commit yourself to a life long project, unless you sell it.

I was refering to the engine/motor not the body work. When I last looked there wasnt much left on the dark side to rust.
