Door removal

Which is the best way to remove the doors?
1. Take of the entire hinge?(Near impossible on my car)
2. Knock out the pins?(How)

I don't quite understand the pins comment...perhaps Type 3s are different to bugs and buses?
Get an impact driver and take out the two screws per hinge.
