She had a good wash and clean.
The bottom of the body, where the jack goes, has been blackened out and the new bumper corners has been fitted.
New plug leads, condenser, points and plugs has also been done and all the wiring sorted.

I have recently bought a Type 4 from SambaOwner which I will collect in Sept.
This means that my Docca will now join the ranks of the Aircooled brigade.
I will keep you updated as we progress.I have already bought the gearbox bellhousing to replace the V6 bellhousing. The starter has also been bought and the conversion back to aircooled should be easy.
The Type 4 is a 2.0l with dual carbs and should be more than enough to run the Docca.
