When viewed from the rear, how are the cylinders numbered in the 4 cylinder horizontally opposed Beetle engines?
Secondly, what is their firing order?
My father is making a scale model of the Beetle engine, and needs this information for the crankshaft.
Thanking you.
Phil.

If you have one nearby, the numbers are printed on the tinware. Otherwise if not, the firing order is 1432.

4 <> 2
