Re: Some thoughts on cams
Pierre I won't say no to that man, thanks. I'm only going to be able to go there after the 24th though as my cash reserves are pretty low to say the least after my recent buying spree.
What's the specs on the W120?

Re: Some thoughts on cams
the W120 is not a T4 cam. Even though you can copy the design onto a T4 blank, it wasnt designed for the T4. There are quite a few cams listed as T4 cams, you just need to page thru the lot. Webcam, Pauter, Fat....

Re: Some thoughts on cams
ok, maybe not.... the websites are listed, go thru them and see what the specs are for the T4 cams that people supply.
Webcam has a few grinds for sale. You can always do something similar, like using a W110 inlet and a W120 exh grind.....

Re: Some thoughts on cams
Yes but @ .050 lift its actually 253 duration
Well this is the cam most of the guys said will wotk with my WBX you might want to have the W110 270 duration
I`m fitting a C25 in Allens 1835 =272
I will also probably end up with around 300cc more than you when I build my 82mmX95mm motor
Choices choices

Re: Some thoughts on cams
and another thought..... the W series cams were made for the T1 with its 1.1:1 rockers. They can (and do ) run very well on 1.25:1 rockers. The T4 has a 1.3:1 rocker ratio.
Ratio rockers are supposed to reduce the movement of the valve train and make up the opening distance of the valve by its ratio. Going too high on a combo will accelerate the valve faster than safe design and wear things out quicker. Dont forget to check that the springs will open far enough to accept the W120 and a 1.3:1 rocker....
Food for thought, use it, dont use it....

Re: Some thoughts on cams
all depends on engine size, carburation, exhaust, CR.... its all in the combo. 110 will be good for a 1915 with limited breathing ability. 120 needs 1 throat per cylinder on that engine size.
