Sup volks!!

I have decided that I am most definitely looking at buying a Type 3...If anyone knows of one in Pretoria or the surrounding area, please let me know!

The following questions is what I need clarity on:

1- Which is the easiest way to convert to disk brakes in front? I have read on this forum about using Opel and Golf disks, but how would I go about doing it? Is there no readily available kit on the market? When I buy mine, the first thing that I would like to do is convert to disks, don't trust the 40+ year old drums :?

2-How many Type 3s are there remaining here in South Africa?

3-What would be the best motor to use in a Type 3? I want something a bit more exciting than a standard 1600
