The truly unique character of the Audi RS 6 is revealed the moment you start up the engine. For this is an engine you have not experienced before. The Audi RS 6 is the first vehicle in the world to feature a dominant 5.0-litre V10 twin-turbo petrol engine with FSI® direct injection. An impressive 580 PS (426 kW) of power are hidden under this elegant bonnet – just waiting for your command.
The power plant
This ten-cylinder engine generates remarkable torque of up to 650 Nm at 1,500 to 6,250 rpm. This takes just 4.6 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) – and only 14.9 seconds to get all the way up to 124 mph (200 km/h).
The engine ensures optimum fuel efficiency by using FSI® technology originally developed for Audi motorsport. Petrol is injected into the combustion chamber with pinpoint accuracy which generates more power from every drop of fuel than ever before.
