Re: My splitty in the waitrose ad
Wierd enough when I saw that ad over here I told Natasa that must be in south africa.
So many ads showing over here are filmed in SA and I always notice it for some reason... either the mountains, schenes, kind of iron gates in front of houses of the building style...
Nice one newguy

Re: My splitty in the waitrose ad
Nice, how much did they pay you?
My Type 3 Ghia (Pampoen) was used in a Clover Danone ad a few years ago. It only featured for a split second ,after a whole morning's filming! All I had to do was to get the car into the right spot for the cameras. I got a big breakfast, snacks and refreshments during the day and a lekker lunch, and on top of it R2500 in my bank account

I just say what other people think! If I thought it was ugly, I woundn't have one, would I? . Maybe a better word is "unpopular"

No problem Dam, I have a mate who spent his life savings restoring one of those type 34's, only to have petrol spilt on the spark plugs and in no time it returned to a piece of scrap. He is now on the second attempt.

Re: My splitty in the waitrose ad
Funny thing is that just the other night I told Chris about this Waitrose ad and the Combi I am always happy to see a ACVW in the media. Except for that one French ad for new car insurance, where a Notch gets SMASHED UP by the one guy with a hammer

Us peasants with normal Type 3 Fasties, Notches and Variants can only dream of a Type 34
