Scanned view of my Ride since I don't have a digital Pic..

Post by Bug_off »

Well First and formost I'd like to apologise for the quality of my pic but I kind of had to scan the photo out of my Photoframe just to give you guys a little peep @ what my Baby Girl looks like... :puterwork:

So I hope that you guys can appreciate the effort and as soon as I get my Bug to Ct I'll post some more pics for you guys and keep you posted on her progress... :drunks:

Looks good.

I remember staring at those rims once upon a time just after they came out but went for the VX1's instead.

*sigh* I miss my car too...

I'm actually planning an upgrade to something a lot bigger hey...

Being considering a 19" for the rear and 17" for the front but if you keen on finding out more...

WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

yea yea yea, as long as you have the brakes to make it look good.
Ever see a 19" in a 3 series? Tiny little discs or when guys put 17"s on a bug with drum brakes....
use it, dont use it,
big wheels can ruin the look of a car if not done right

True that Tony...

I need to keep that in mind cos the Golf discs are surely going to look like Marie Biscuits on there ....

Thanks for the Heads up!!!

You could always use VR6 discs up front. They're huge !!!

Or 411 discs, if you could find some, IMPI used them on the front of his GermanLooker with 17's and it looked superb...

I got the whale tail from my dad's cousin up in JHB...

I'm not too sure about his details but I can check up for you. Maybe it would also help posting a blog so that the guys at ACVW can help you out with some details
I know that the whale tail is not everyone's cup of tea and that was one of the reason's that I opted for it. Also it adds a bit os an agressive look to the ride in my opinion and that compliments my customised front and rear end. :moon:

I sold a whale tail to IMPI at Ferdi's swop meet - maybe he can make a copy/mould.
