working d/cab
put Francine to work on saturday....
27 boxes tiles @ 23kg = 621kg
12 packets grout @ 20kg = 280kg
so all in all about a ton up. handled fine all the way home, although the rear left wheel nuts did start coming loose. lucky i heard it and stopped at a garage to tighten them before any came out... or worse.

Re: working d/cab
Sorry, I cant call things I love boys names. SHE is well, been parking in storage whilst I am building garages. I battled to start her last time, to discover the fuel had all dried up, even from the lines. Must be hot in the garage.
The exhaust I realise maybe needs a box to calm things down. Too noisy.
My refurbed rostyles will go on when I can get that done.
Mechanically, she is close to 100% now. Still need to fit the new fuel sender, but all else is good, thanks to Dirk.

So you guys know the asterix and Obelix cartoons in SA too. It is not all that popular here, but I used Obelix as my call sign in the military. Love them toons.
Don't argue with an idiot, people watching may not be able to tell the difference
