what will you guys say is a decent price to ask a guy to repair all dents, prime, flat and paint a small bantam bakkie for a guy?

this is a complete sprayjob, the bakkie is already completely stripped, just needs to get aal the dents out,, prime and flat it and paint it.

No more than R5000-00...........

i was think of R6000 as the body does not have big dent is but each pannel has about 50 small dents in, the owner also want me to go down to the metal as it has about 8 difrent layers of paint on.

R6000 sounds fair.

Think of it this way. i was quoted R10000 to spray the speedy.....that's just to spray. All the prep work will be done by me...just tac off, mask and spray for the shop. Wanna do my car too Suzie

i was qouted 4 years ago at a pannelbeater in newcastle just to paint my DC close to R20K and i was also suppose to do the prep, so i did the prep and got a freind to paint it,

we discused a price and came to R4000 to do the bakkie, so he said he will come back to me later today to say if it is go ahead or a no no

MAke sure that you get at least 50% deposit before you begin and dont give his keys back until you have the rest....

I got quoted 45k,

Zero-Axe, it is my nabour, I take a 30% upfront, 30% on completion of prep and the last 40% on completed spray job.

If he does not pay he can take his car with no hassle out of my garage, just remember i work at a lab and have you seen what does H2So4 does to a cars painting?
