You can try Volkspares Pretoria for the harnas(Loom). Saw they did some beetles there not too long ago. Looked good to me with the correct color-codes. Price probably expensive?

Ok guys decided to do a full respray
need some ideas maybe as per pic Diamond blue with all white interior???
shes very undersided she wants a blue ??? but i would still like to stay with a original colour what do you think.

Thanks for that but removed the original and had a good look at it.
Its still in excellent condition so im going to reuse it.

Blue with white is nice, but it gets very dirty very quickly. I do like it though.
For practicality, I'd put in a darker interior with a light roof lining just to keep things looking clean. Go with the original colour again or close to it, it is a nice colour and very close to the blue you posted above.

Could be a idea i just cant find the original colour code for the vehicle

In 1978 VWSA introduced a slightly different blue colour, which replaced the plain light blue used until then. Looked like a little bit of light grey was added. Looked nearly like your last picture.
They called it "Glacier Blue". Like this:

Then around mid-80's they changed this again to a slightly darker light blue/grey.
Maybe still a little bit more light grey needs to be added to make the paint look like the picture you posted.

its a 71 on the log book any help on the colour would be appreciated
ok on another subject altogether who has got a couple of rostyle rims lying around that they want to get rid of for
a decent price.

That was quick.Good one now another coat of paint your in the good books. The Samba have colour charts but not sure if they where used in SA.

Hi Terry got a mate who knows a mate see pic of steering i scored , getting my paint guy to do a couple samples so she can see the colours we will go from there.
Decided to pull the body and do a full restro on pan etc
Then will do the body at a a later stage

Very nice its a big size wheel and looks good in the car,I am sure you done the right thing by going all out.Your daghter must be thinking if she will ever stop working on the car.Good luck.
