I read 1800 Clutch kit

This means then it should be a 215mm clutch and a std beetle starter will work with this kit

I bought a kitt for Microbus and it has a 228mm clutch (if you want to use one of these 228mm kits then you need a spacer and a Bus starter in a BEETLE AND 1600 3 Rib Bus Box)

If the clutch is 215mm you will not need to modify Beetle or 3 Rib bus box to fit this specific kit
Adapterplates Available for Rotary in Beetle and others aswell
And Special Boxes built for Rotary Conversions and Scubies

Complete set-up from GILO is priced at R2216.00. With crossmember and engine mounts, just over R3000. A bit overpriced I would say!

I think this one includes the clutch kit as well.
The only substitute for cubic inches are more cubic inches.

Gilo make the kit with both 228 & 215 FW, I would get your buddy to check if he has a matched clutch kit.

Interested in the flywheel and adapter............will pay 2K for both. Sent him a sms and tried to call, but no reply. Spoke to Gilo Eng yesterday and the kit is R2600 excluding clutch, mounts and crossmember.

If you speak to him, let him know that someone is keen on it and will pay cash, no quibble.
