Hi
After I chatted to Armand I decided to make up a basic diagram for a Gotech MFI X ecu onto a type 4 and type 1 engine.
Hope it helps.
I know it's a bit on the big side, but you would be able to save it and view later again.

Nice one.
Do the injectors all fire at the same time?

On the MFI X ecu, yes. The injectors run in batch fire.
The Gotech PRO ecu run phased sequential, Two injectors will fire at one time.
The Gotech PRO X can run full sequential, One injector fire at a time.

Aha.
Just wondering. Would sequential injection make a big difference in fuel consumption as it only injects fuel when needed?
Am i right in assuming that you need a TDC trigger for sequential?

Full sequential is a bit lighter on fuel. For full sequential you do require TDC. This you can get from a distributor as it turns half the speed of the crank.

If you were to use a golf tps on the 2.1 wbx throttle body, where do the wires connect to?

On the 3 pin golf tps the middle wire is normally the signal.
The blue/yellow will connect to the signal. You can then connect the orange to one pin and the brown/white to the other. If they are the wrong way around, you will not damage the ecu. the throttle % will simply go the wrong way on the software. Then swop the + and - around.
