PROGRESS OF MY Turbo Beach buggy
Hi all,
It has started. I have bought the buggy and now we are currently stripping and replacing the parts that are needed.
Brake system that we have bought is golf 2 GTI rear and Vr6 upfront. Replacing all pipes, cables and hoses as well as new master cylinder.
Engine, 20lt 8 valve Golf Gti, we are having a hybrid turbo built up with a charge cooler instead of an intercooler.
All the pipes and radiator have to be fitted which we will do in s/s pipes.
Wheels we are going to run are going to be 17" with 225/45/17 tyres at the back and 205/45/17 upfront.
Rollcage will be fitted also in high polished s/s, full 6 point harnesses with race seats are also being fitted.
As the project goes on we will update with pics.
Here are some of the pics of the before buggy.
PS if u are looking for spares for your beach buggy let me know as i will be removing a lot of items from the original buggy, sorry engine already sold but have wheels roll bar engine bar etc, so pm me and we can see if i still have the bits u need....
