My aircooleds'

Post by Yunazz »

Ok, so the wife and i are now proud owners of a 1962 Karmann Ghia.
The car was resprayed by the previous owner, the finishings arent that great, but ill remedy that later.
The engine, i believe is a 1600 which was overhauled and the clutch and brakes have also been redone.

Outstanding goodies, include;
it needs to be slammed.WhiteWalls, Beauty rings 8)
the chrome beadings need to be fitted.
indicator lenses
some windows are missing :evil:
and the interior needs some attenion.

but im stoked and cant wait to get her in tip top form, will update with progress

so that brings me to a grand total of 2 AIRCOOLEDWS!!!!! :hangloose:

so ive been working at getting the car done, with some minor setbacks(financial of course) but well on my way again.

refitting the chrome at the moment, sent the door handles away to make new keys, but theyre struggling to find blanks, bought some beauty rings, had interior panels made and upholstered.
bought all the missing window,thought that would never happen, and replaced the rubbers. hoping to finish the car in septemeber
