ok so this morning had the parts that i had powder coated come back looking good just a few more things need to be done and then the front beam can be sent off for blasting and then can have the adjusters welded in
so not long from now before the front beam will have its adjusters,disks and wheels on but so far everything is looking good

Update
so today sat and put a list together of what i have bought so far and how much its has cost me:
1.disk brakes
2.rostyle rims
3.pop out windows
4.W shape decklid and apron
5.pear shaped mirror and hinge pin
6.front beam adjusters
7.front beam bushings
UPDATE
so most of my powder coated parts have been wrapped and sealed to make sure they wont get damaged in the move ,more parts will be going in tommorow to get powder coated was supposed to go down on friday just waiting for a few things and then i will be off . Pan is still in JHB and body in warehouse waiting for truck am waiting to see hav found a buyer for the variant if he takes it will be able to get a few more things for the beetle before i leave
only two parts i can find that havent been wrapped yet

Good news your beetle is not "Stolen", but according to the system still belongs to a certain Mr. CP Botes of Kimberley. It is a 1968 Beetle, colour blue, according to the number you gave me.

so this morning dropped some more parts at powdercoaters and should be back soon ,cant wait for rostyles to get to jhb ,will sit just untill i can get enought $$$$$ to get them detailed but all in good time , at the moment am trying to find out where i can get pan halves from to sort pan out
