Petrol Tank filter/ strainer/ bend???

Post by flatfourfan »

I'm swapping in another petrol tank for my bus as the old one has some dents, braised up and the filter at the base has been perminantly attached to the tank.

I'm sitting with a problem though, where can I get another strainer/ pipe fitting that goes in the base of the tank????

Anyone?

You used to be able to get the strainer and washer from VW (Lindsay Saker), give them a try. The codes were 111 209 147B or 111 201 147B for the strainer; and 311 201 235 or 311 209 235 for the washer.
The pipe, if not available, could be made up at a place like Vees Pipes in Jhb.
