Left over Noddy Town paint or retro-hippy?

They painted the engine lid rubber seal so nicely, I wonder why they didn't paint the coffee can?

The things acvw owners do. Amazing purely amazing. 10points for ingeniuity tho. Quick jack, what are the exact pros of having that pipe from they oil neck to the "Filter"? i get the oil bath filter is better to filter the air... But whats the purpouse of the pipe?
More than meets the eye!

It's for the crankcase breather on the oil filler. It ensures the crankcase breathes clean air and that the engine burns the noxious fumes that are emitted from the breather.
