Good luck finding PROPER aircooled mechs. In durbz didi. Kak hard! where about are you in durban? theres a good guy down in ottawa Mark Kanny. Hes "Supposedly" a good brakes and suspension dude.

Absolutely lovely bus. I have a split and when I got her the brakes were shocking......I did all that Fig said, full overhaul of master and slaves, new pipes, etc, etc, etc and now she stops with no issues.....but do remember, the brakes aren't servo assisted so will never stop like a modern car but just push harder and she stops.
If you ever bring the bus to Cape Town, I have an amazing mechanic here (Jurgen) who was born in Wolfsburg!
