You guys know why there arent any socials???
Look at the thread... two pages and no-one has done anything yet.

Someone please figure out what you want, where you want it, then let the others know its a VW social and you will be there... if anyone else arrives, then bingo, otherwise, try again some other time.

look at these for examples.... first post, venue, date and time

Im there like fred bear,.....but Germiston lake isnt as safe as it was at a stage, from what I have heard its know blacker than the ace of spades and rife with crime,......and before poeple give me shit for my "racist" comment,.....our pigmentally blessed brothers dont have the best track reckord as far as crime or the lack of it is concerned.

But if everyone is comfortable to MEAT there im ace.(notice my cunning use of the writen language)

TONY!! Stop now, you're making me giggle and that shows the boss that I'm not working... I must admit that I was quite chuffed that you used mine as a prime example. Pity you didn't make it, but sloped off to Jah-burg days, nay, hours before...

Tony's hit the nail on the head. If you wnat to organise this democratically nothing will happen. Organise something that works for you and invite people to join you. Be prepared to have a fun time on your own; that way you won't be disappointed if no one else pitches.

That's how I organised the first Kult kamp-out. G&I were going to have a great weekend regardless of whether anyone else showed up. But the people did come and the rest is history.

I spend most weekends on the farm, so I don't do much social stuff on weekends. My farm is always available as a venue for ACVW gatherings, so long as someone else does the organising. I will always make an effort to attend weeknight gatherings; just tell me where/when. I agree with Sambabus, I'm not in a hurry to go back to Germies lake.
