My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."

IIRC Fig mentioned that seatbelts became standard in 1963. Maybe he can correct me if I'm wrong.

My '66 split has mountings for seatbelts. Where can I buy new retractable ones? I have not had good experiences with the ones from scrapyards.
The only substitute for cubic inches are more cubic inches.

The law in SA is (was?) that all passenger cars built from 1964 must have seat belts, and all commercial vehicles built after 1978.

I'm not sure when seat belt mounts were first fitted to buses, probably 64-67 though I may be wrong. AFAIK all bay buses had seat belt mounts, which meant you could order them as an accessory from the dealer. I don't know when seatbelts were first fitted as standard in buses.
