Rear disc brake kit for my Buggy

Got this from Volkspares, ordered from Empi.......took 5 damn weeks to get here after I was promised 7 days.

Backing plates
Seal kits & spacers
Bolts
Discs 5*130 for my Fuchs
Single pod calipers
Brake pads
Brake hoses
Hand brake cables

All bolt on, out the box, for under R4k. :D

Hi John, if you don't mind I would like to take a couple of dims of the caliper bracket, as I have the same hubs but the bracket I have doesn't quite fit and need to make another up, or modify it. :D
For what it's worth, ignorance has no limits ......

My biggest fear is that my wife sells my cars for what i told her they cost !!

That's not bad for under R4k. I think my calipers alone were about R2.5k.
The only substitute for cubic inches are more cubic inches.

Hi John also did my sums and the price is good, can you give us some info regarding this i would like to get one if they are still available.

I've been looking around for a bolt-on kit for a while. The other day Garrin at Volkspares told meEmpi had the complete kit on special for R3,400. :shock:

Obviously my check card was out in a flash. :D

As you can see the kit consists of everything you need from the metal brake pipe onwards. Even the hand brake cables. The hand brake function is the main reason I went for the kit. I'm tired af battling with brake shoes and uneven hand brake function on the two rear wheels. :hangloose:
