Well a car show at Killarney could'nt get any better, what a fantastic idea, and to be hosted by ACVW members. Absolutaly loads of hard work, commitment and dedication is a total must for anyone that is prepared to get involved. I was on the committee that arranged the 2nd WWF at the Pioneer School as Treasurer, and was responsible for getting the food stalls, vendors and activities together with Tom B and Floris. But my first advise would be to ensure strict nominations of a committee and state each ones responsibilities out right. Once this is determined and kept to, then everything else falls in place. My kind of thing, I thoroughly enjoy organizing such events and will dedicate myself fully should the show be born. Any suggestions of where the proceeds/profits would be allocated too?

I'm in!!!!!
Oh no, it's her again.......the crazy one, she doesn't give up quickly........!

In August Crankhandle Cronicle.

CAPE CLASSIC CAR SHOW to replace
Panorama Wheel Show, Cars in the Castle, CTICC Car Show and Street Rod Concourse Parow High School... to be held annually on the 2nd weekend of November. The Hout Bay "Classic in the Bay" and the "Cape Classic Car Show" have reached an accord and will now alternate every two years. Instead of both entities doing a mediocre show every year, each entity will host its own show every second year and support the other when it's not its turn. Therefore this year the CMMCS will hold a massive show in the Parow North Sporting complex. Hout Bay Rotary will support us by handling the gate and we will share the gate with them so that we both get the funding to operate. Charities will benefit correctly managed by the Rotarians. Weneed massive support from all corners of the Cape. There is a registration fee of RIO.00 per car because we want you to commit. Not only will you get your R10.00 worth in goodies but we will give your R10.00 back to your club if you pitch up on the day! Show Details: Sunday 15th November
2009
Time: 10:00 to 16:00
Entiyfee: Adults: R20.00
Scholars: R5.00
Display Stalls: 3m x 3m for R400.00 Food Stalls: Gas sites and electric sites.
The fee is 20° o of turnover.
Cars and displays will be able to park from 12:00hrs on Saturday 14th November with 'reliable 24 hour securitv.

Tom, How do I get more detail and pay? Do I need to join a club? Would like to bring Mo and if very lucky BB.

Well, that's all cool and dandy, but it means less shows in the Cape Town area, not more. I am in two minds about this...
