Melkbos is Weskus, ou pel, on the way to Vellegruff. Velddrif if you're from "The Flats".
Have a look where the cables SAT 1, SAT 2, SAT 3/WASC, ACE and Main One comes ashore, that's about 100m from my house. All your emails and forum posts come past MY front door...

No wonder i cant get any porn. it stops at your front door.
If I interpret your design correctly, it seems as if the gearlever will pivot inside the insert block in the top assembly and the insert block will be able to swivel from side to side?
How much shorter do you expect the throw to be?
With some proper teflon bushes on the pivot points, that selector will really allow the gearlever to "snick" into gear and no more stirring the "pappot" hunting for gears.
Excellent work thus far. Good luck with the further development.
Looks good so far!! You know, for us "tech geeks" we(I) need some pics, once completed of course of it dis-assembled and an explanation of where and how the parts fit I like to understand how mechanical things work.....
Oh and Tony, I think I figured out how 'your' 180° V engine 'works'
