That's a lot of work to remove all the rust! Is there much more?

I admire and solute you guys for the dedication. This thread is what I truely believe is meant when someone says "bringing back from the brink of extinction!" :zhelp:

Karmann Ghia pans can be modified to fit, but I have no idea how much they are and if Volkspares can still geth them.

Still waiting for the guy to call me back with prices

Me, I have two spare pans, one which could get sold to a fellow forum member quite soon

I imported pan halves for the Ghia and the Notch from T3D. I think they are readily available from them. Unfortunately I can't find a price anymore, but I'm sure it is available on request. If memory serves, it was around 160GBP excl courier and import duty. What T3D do is they quarter the pan-halves to courier them. So you can reweld them into halves or replace quarter (which is what will probably be done on the Notch, the two rear quarters).

Hi guys, i had some bad luck today. I decided to shoot the bug some more clear coat to give it that deep wet look. Looked awesome yesterday, looks shit today. Ive got some orange peel here and there. This means another weeks delay. Will keep you guys posted. Ferdi.

Once again i'm blown away at the quality of the work! You put the same amount of effort into the car as if it's your own. Very nice Ferdie!
