Re: 1957 Bus
Nope, Junior's writing exams and did no further work. The windows have been cut and I bought the new rubbers. Will be out of town this weekend but we will be fitting them next weekend. Then off to do the interior. Pics will follow shortly.Splitz wrote:Any new pics Eugene, ??

dus is hierdie die sommige ou tannie blues
sommige ou tannies hang rond vir kwaadgeld
in Garlicks se teekamer
en verorber kaaskoek en scones
terwyl hulle Polaroid-kiekies smokkel in hul handtasse
van oorlede mans en stoutgat bedorwe kleinkinders
op ander kontinente..'

Re: 1957 Bus
So some progress have been made. We fitted all the fixed windows, while the pop-outs have been to the powder coaters.
Then off to Sam the man, also known as the upholstery man
Here the seats that needed some touching up
Front bench

and the rear seats from the Delux Bay

all stripped down to this

then started the roof lining, carpets and panels

Then the sorry looking seats were transformed to this

as you can see, still work in progress.

The bus should be done by the Saturday. Then back home to finish the windows.
More pics later
