Is a fleetline bad? I'm currently looking for a SC project and have seen a few fleetlines offered, and didn't think they were that bad.

Pine is just looking for :bn:

Fleetlines are unique to SA, it was the last splitty look van ever made in the world!

They are also becoming more sought after overseas. Some do not regard them as TRUE splittys, since they were made in the 70's from a mix and match of different parts.

To each his own I suppose :-)

Pine is just jealous,he couldnt get a split so he bought a bay,but felt insecure when us split drivers showed up,so he put his bay up for sale and bought a type3,so as to never again feel "judged" at socials......Im sorry Pine,I see by the comments you post that its abit of an issue, the whole awesomness of the split verses the "oh,a type 3,thats nice" or "wow, another flippen beetle."

Just know that I have never thought less of you for driving a bay,or a merc,or a type 3,its not so much what you drive, its whats inside,...and I know, underneath the "i dont like fleetlines" facade is a split bus driver.

But youve taken things to far now,all you anti fleetline comments has resulted in you not being able to get one, because of youre pride! And all the german splits are gone,.....now whats in store for you my friend? type 1s?or beach buggies?....A zimmerphram with a vw badge?

Hows this Pine,Ill drive us out to a quieter place, and then you can drive my bus abit,....and pretend its youres. It can be our little secret.
