The fantastic story of the travelling Samba, as published in th VWSA magazine 'Via' 10 years ago. Mrs van der Mark has since passed away, and the Samba is now in the safe care of Capie Jean Viljoen

Do you have the original? I would love to get a copy - or better yet: the original.

As you know i have a lot of the original paperwork of the kombi - as i don't have this particular piece it would really be great to get it.

I remember seeing the video of the trip at the George show....blow me away. Any chance of organising another viewing at some point? Can you my house and I'll provide the beer and braai!

Hi Pine - thx for the offer - much appreciated. I'll get some of my pictures together and post it.

As for watching the film again: anytime. The rest of the year is quite full between my travels, Bonnievale camping weeking, the Classic Car show and we'll certainly have a year-end gathering for the Kombi club. So let's do it early in 2010.
