Farhaad, thats how a beetle should look. Stunning work. Still love that steering wheel...., and the gearknob, agree that could become a cottage industry. Eben has shops ready and waiting for forum members :-)

I dunno wether im gonna have to cover up the nice white that BUGGOFF is gonna spray the pan (when i can wake up and buy the pan halves) or leave it open to show the world and if i do close it up the last thing i want to have to put over it is a rubber mat.

why not make glass pan halves. then u can see were u going
i did not like the standard black carpet sets and its not the weave type. its actuall. a belgotex brand called color rib and the colour is bush baby. i had it cut and used matching vynil (same as the seats) as piping on the edges. ill be doing the same in the bonnet and for the loose mats

That interior is something to be proud of.

I have to admit, I'm fully annoyed with mine. The guy who did it is a cock, if I see him in a dark alley...

Do you find you kick the parcel tray when you get in and out? I think I might have to sell mine as it gets in the way, which is a pity

luckily for me im a bit on the short side so it does not affect me  . i also mounted it a bit higher than standard. a few taller chaps who had parcel trays in there bugs had the same problem. if the bug is gonna be your daily ride that could get a bit annoying :( . thanx for the compliment. i say it again, there are good, skilled guyz out there but its a process to find them. unfortunately the process has a price tag on it
