clutch

The clutch on the beetle went last night.
Midas says that there are two clutch plates for the '71 model. a 180mm one and a 200mm one.
which one does mine use. Its a 1300 sp

200mm but in 71.......
there were two different clutch throwout bearings supplied. one with a guide tube and one without
The problem is that you would need to remove the engine to know

Replaced the Buggy's clutch a month ago - cost about R 650 for a good quality complete LUK kit.. and the difference is amazing! Took me about an hour and a half, 6 Millers, and U2's Actung Baby CD on repeat about 3 times :mrgreen:

(I even had to take the engine out! :wink: )
