I think the clay was too soft when they shaped it and it sagged overnight. Then the day shift just built it.

Re: what is the ugliest car you have ever seen ??
Sorry, cant aggree with the uno, I like the uno way, with that little bit of extra ground clearance for offroad stints...
Here's my two cents for the pool: EXCUSE ME BUT HOW DARE VOLKSWAGEN, try to make an updated copy of the uncopyable This one too, looks like some kind of fish.
Ever seen the Ford KS??? Its like a drawing, it was started the front and the roof got done, but when the artist got to the back, he was tried and so closed off the car with a straight line or nearly.
Dont go for Ssssong ping, the cake with the Chana or the Chery on the top and the Tata. The Chana looks like a puff of wind could blow it away, and the Tata bakkie has a big rear end. Seen a mahindra before?A revised cardboard box with wheels. After your cake, how about some Daewoo. I am not saying that these cars are not reliable, but they shure look funny.

Pontiac Aztec

----------------------------------

---------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------

----------------------------------
"A bizarre car that has been dubbed the 'ugliest automobile in the world' is today back on the road 50 years after its launch. The unique Aurora, a 19 feet long monster that was built by an eccentric New York priest as the ultimate safety vehicle, is now turning heads again. Father Alfred Juliano bankrupted himself creating the prototype, which remained the only one ever built because the contraption was so full of faults no one wanted one. ..."
It was called the Aurora and was designed in the 50’s by a Roman Catholic preist to be the safest car in the world. It broke down 15 times on the way to it’s debut party. It cost $30,000 in 1950 dollars. It’s incredible.

---------------------------------------------
Although it could be one of the ugliest car hacks I’ve ever seen, Mike Turner of Hodges, SC, modified his 1992 Honda Civic to get 70 MPG.

-----------------------------------
It looks like the result of an alien breeding program seriously gone wrong and we really had no difficulty in pronouncing this demonic car mod from Bali as the ugliest that ever drove on the face of the world. Though a part of me would really like to probe the makes of this so-called mod for the reasons that had prompted him to strip a perfect used-vehicle of all its dignity, but there is another part of me which wants to just stay as far away from even the mention of this “thing”. And if you’ll excuse me, I think I need to go and throw up my last meal right about now.

Chris wrote:No,fast and aerodynamics can be good looking.Aston Martin,Porsche,Ferrari,Merc and others just knew how to do it.In this case^,they made it fast, and then designed the body as an after thought.
That might be the case, but how long is your piece of string? Above mentioned cars might just not be as quick as the above fugly car. We can speculate, but only a head to head test will tell the truth?

Indeed TOnyZ, not saying that aerodynamics cant look good...... but there are other fugly cars that can go fast. I prefer the nice looking ones.
(Apparently its like women.... The fugly ones can also shag well, but you would rather wake up with a beaut!? But I cant say......
)
Oh yes..... how did this friend of mine in SA put it when he sees a mediocre woman??? "Seen better, f**ked worse!!"
