R200k Samba in Durban?

Post by fig »

Volks

I'm hearing stories that a samba recently changed hands in Durban for R200k. It was apparently bought by a collector.

Has anyone heard about this? Anyone know the story or anything about this samba? didiercazin, is it you?

If it was Didi's bus, I'd say it was worth it. It's one of the finest veedubs i've seen in a long time, including the UK ones.

I know didiercazin is selling a restored 57 microbus for R200k. The one I've heard about is a samba, apparently recently bought by a collector in Durban. I'm wondering if there's any truth in this, and if didiercazin is selling his 57 micro to buy this samba, or if it's someone else entirely.

BTW, didiercazin and Didi are two different forum members.
