Except the speedos a bit smaller than my old one although I was planning on redoing the dash anyway so will make a plan.

Re: What did you do on your car today?
I got a new boxed 25 year old Smiths Speedo and Tacho
So now i'll be able to see how many revs I are having and how much i'm speeding. Great

Life begins at 80 and ends shortly after in a temporary court on the side of the road.

Does any of you guys in Gauteng know where to get Dynamat? The suppliers here in Bloem say the importers dont bring it in anymore! What else is good for sound deadening? Bug needs to get finished soon!!!

Took Ol' Betty on a spin after standing for a while. Sounding alright, but I suspect might need tunning. When I take a corner, she kinda struggles a tad to get goin - almost like she loses a drop of fuel or something
Eish, mist is another thing in this area. I could literaly only see as far as 2 cats eyes!!!!!!!
Do them amber spots help in mist, and if so, how should I mount them, and which do you lads suggest I should use?

Added a new oil-filled coil and fitted that. Also cleaned out the old original air filter housing and fitted it. Tuned the carb a bit, but realised this needs to be overhauled soon, so will look for a replacement
The handling is really scary when it's windy. The bug was all over the road with the gusts of wind, so need to work out why this is happening and also how to solve it.

Moved her into her new temporary home as her old home will now be home to an Italian missus. Eish, the joys and longsufferingness of polygamy. Ich lieb Afrika zu viel!

haha ghetto drop, love that.
once the narrowed beam goes in with the drop spindles and decent shocks, it should be better. will aim for 145's on the front, granted it won't help matters but the 1200 wasn't mean to go fast, only look hot
