Time to put this one on the projects.
Ibought the bus a few years back in Ermelo and took it to the farm near Wartburg. Was towing it with an A frame and just hope that the cops would not bother me.
From the farm I put it on a trailer and bring it to Pmb.Where it was parked in the garage.
We built a frame to turn it on the side. and we stripped the bus for the repaires.

Plan for now is to restore it but with low budget so it will take time. Will shift attention slowly from the westy to the DC
Here are some pics of the DC stripped.
DC on the frame (rotiserie)
Before the bed was removed, we(Fanie) sweeped the floor.
After the bed was removed
Floor in the back of the cab under the tank was rotten and taken out

Hi Fig that was only to get it out of the garage(waenhuis), use a proper A-frame. Those cops at Greytown are bad, fined my father driving my Isuzu (+-95 model) with those other kind of light switch knobbies in the dash because he didnt know where to switch the lights on.

While I am waiting for the panelbeater to finish with the Westy Idecide to start working in the DC. Today I started to kleen the underside of the DC, the section between the engine bay and the rear tortion bar
Should I paint NS1(rust buster) and then NS4(red oxide primer) or directly NS4 and then proper black paint 2K ?
Blits no photos yet I was to dirty to use the camera.
