It was between 36 and 40 celcius in CT yesterday... and tragically one of our VW bretheren came to a melting demise...

You were all feeling quite chilly then! :) What was the relative humidity; which probably has a much greater impact on human thermal comfort?

When I visited South Africa, in April~May 1980, wearing shorts, T-shirt and sandals, people were closing the swimming pools, because it was Autumn and supposedly too cold for swimming!

Here in Great Britain, we have been experiencing relatively balmy temperatures of circa -15ºC to 0ºC, with snow, slush & ice on the roads. :(
