Fig, I need your help.......

Am I correct in KNOWING that Mo can't do 235 KM/H or is that I BELIEVE it can't as I have attempted? Also.....if MO was to be loaded onto a transport plane, can I KNOW she did circa 500mph as I'm the owner.....does it count if it's not under it's own steam.....

I'm confused.....please help me!

Somedays I hate this sight because people shoot their mouths off without knowing the facts.Wonder why I bother posting here anymore.

Bugger's Bug has gone faster than that before and this guy has proof of what is saying including the speed ran on GPS like Bugger confirmed.

You guys just know how to spoil a good thread.
You're right i dont know what i'm talking about - i put the speed and the ET together - it was actually a compliment me thinking it should be way faster on the ET (what was i thinking !)

"If your Vehicle does the quarter mile in 14 (Secs.), it should have a final quarter mile Speed of at least 97.29 (MPH).
1/4 Mile Final Speed
If your Vehicle does the quarter mile in 9 (Secs.), it should have a final quarter mile Speed of at least 149.67 (MPH).

And yes this hacked oval below had a lot of work around the window areas........

I've touched 120km/h on the speedo with my '68 1600 single port Beetle. At that speed the top of the wheels travel forward at 240km/h, and think about the accelaration, from standing still while touching the tar to 240 at the top at an instant! (and pistons & conrods, but they don't count as they go sideways)
So parts of the car can do it! :hiding:

Once again I say that you haven't actually read the posts I made.I never said it ran the 1/4 mile with a speed of 235km/h.

The Beetle wasn't a 64 with an Oval rear window grafted in.It was an Oval with a 63 nose grafted on.

If anyone had paid any attention to that most excellent collection of quotes I shared on the Favourite Quotes thread somebody could have thrown this one at me:
