CB Performance

Post by Tony Z »

In the past I have bitched and moaned about the price of shipping when ordering parts from CB performance in USA....

Well, here it is again.

I place an order for $21 for some parts small enough to fit into a large padded envelope. Shipping price = $125

subtotal $20.90
tax $0.00
shipping carrier: INTL-UPS $125.00
additional cost () $0.00
total $145.90

are these people fkn mad??? Needless to say, I have canceled the order.

When I get back to work, I'll place it again and get it sent to our agents in Miami

I dont understand how CB can use such an expensive shipping method - but then again, international orders probably make up 5% of their business.

Tony

The reason they use UPS is that they CB does not want to screw with the customs etc. that the USPS have, also UPS is basic a door to door service and you pay for that. You can always have it shipped to me and I will forward it to you where ever you are in the world, via USPS, I have the shit work down packed. PM me if you want to do this.

Tony, I have used UPS before, and parts arrived within two days to SA. Normal postage takes at least 6 weeks. I will use it again, but just order more parts so the postage doesnt look so expensive!!

yea, like a $600 engine case that costs $800 to ship...

USPS, just as fast, just as good, 1/4 the price
